Contract Manager-Operations

The Contract manager will play a critical role in supporting the company’s growth by reviewing, revising and negotiating contracts primarily based on templates; escalate complex legal and factual issues to management and when appropriate, outside counsel and assist in resolution; recommend improvements and innovations to contract templates and the contract process; and recommend and ultimately, implement a contract administration system and process.  Working with Business Development, Professional Services and Customer Success, apply best practices methodologies to develop and implement contract strategies to support the sales process, change order process and renewal processes and templates

Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

  • Relevant experience and prior demonstrable success in a similar role
  • Ability to draft moderate to complex, non-routine contractual instruments. Working to expert knowledge of contracting concepts, Uniform Commercial Code, applicable contract law and regulations, and applicable international contract law.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written

Our ideal candidate will have 8 -15+ years in the information or cybersecurity space with an emphasis on risk analysis and risk management using the NIST compendium of Special Publications (SP800-30, 37, 39 and 53.) Experience in healthcare is a differentiator.

  • Relevant experience performing NIST-based Information Systems risk analyses, HIPAA Privacy, Security and Breach Notification Rule compliance evaluations, ideally in the healthcare space
  • Relevant experience and prior demonstrable success leading and/or delivering consulting engagements in the IS and/or healthcare space
  • Relevant technical training, project management training, and certifications such as: CISSP, CRISC, CISA, CISM, HCISPP, CIPP, CHPS, etc.
  • Ability to travel for the purposes of delivering customer engagements 50 – 60% of the time
  • Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills, especially in the information systems, security and/or privacy space
  • Training and experience with designing/developing SaaS platforms
  • Highly-effective verbal communications and presentation skills in a Customer setting
