Passwords are often one of
the weakest links in security in any industry, but particularly problematic in healthcare. When
a system has known authentication weaknesses, they can be used by Malicious Insiders or System Crackers to gain unauthorized access to sensitive data or potentially control access by others to that system.
To determine the root causes for these weaknesses, Clearwater's CyberIntelligence Institute has analyzed specific authentication-related vulnerabilities in the IRM|Analysis database and compiled data-driven insights in a new bulletin.
